DiCon conducts research, development, manufacturing and marketing at its headquarters in Richmond, California, U.S.A. DiCon has full range of high brightness LED products that are manufactured in this 200,000 square foot facility.

Leveraging optics and optoelectronic expertise gained from over 20 years in fiberoptics industries, DiCon turned its attention to the solid-state Lighting market in 2002 investing $30 Million in a “Photronics Center” for research of new technologies. DiCon competes aggressively in high-brightness, solid-state LED lighting applications by vertically integrating capabilities that excel in DiCon's proprietary light extraction and packaging technologies. The first LED lighting products for were introduced in 2007.

DiCon Lighting products are powered by multi-chip, RGB (red, green, blue) multi-colored high brightness arrays. The Solid State production includes wafer processing, our proprietary light extraction process, chip assembly, and full mechanical production of LED cells and light engines. All of our products can be controlled to create just the right color or to dynamically change the colors for entertainment and display applications.
